The City of Longmont’s Sustainability Program is excited to be launching the first annual Let’s Thrive Challenge! The Let’s Thrive Challenge is a new outreach initiative created to foster greater awareness of actions that help build a more sustainable Longmont.

Waterproofing work planned to begin today is postponed until at least Thursday because of the cold temperatures. Thisdelay is expected to push final asphalt work to next week.

The Longmont City Council meeting set for April 30, 2019, has been canceled.

Crews have begun the final road work on South Pratt Parkway Bridge. Drivers should anticipate frequent trafficpattern changes and serious traffic impacts through the week.

I was happy to see that Collision Brewing’s “vintage body shop” theme is tasteful and fun, but never gaudy. It looks a bit like an old-fashioned “fillin’ station” on the outside, complete with retro gas pumps out front, but the inside is open, airy, hip and modern, with just enough car-related decorations to keep your attention if you’re interested but not distract you if you aren’t.
