Twelve years ago, there was a fatal crash on a dirt road in rural Virginia. The speeding teenage driver was killed instantly, and one of his passengers, Hunter Garner, died before he arrived at the D.C. emergency room, fifty miles away. It changed life for the Garner family and, led by Julie, Hunter’s mother, they were determined that the young man’s death should not be in vain.

El Concejo de la Ciudad de Longmont votó el martes pasado y aprobó una ordenanza que modifica los requisitos del código actual de la ciudad en respecto a la creación de los distritos Especiales o Metropolitanos. En su forma actual, el código de la ciudad no permitió la creación de un Distrito Especial con el único propósito de ayudar en el desarrollo de áreas residenciales, y limitó el desarrollo residencial en áreas de uso mixto.
