BURGLARY On Thursday, 1/3/19, Longmont police took a report of a burglary in the 200 block of Sweet Valley Court. This case is closed.

We spend millions of dollars annually to respond to chronic street homelessness in our community. Not unlike all other communities our size or larger near us and throughout our country, we have ventured down the two-pronged approach of either providing services or utilizing enforcement as our responses.

AUTO THEFT A Longmont resident reported theft of a motor vehicle in the 100 block of East 5th Avenue. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information. THEFT A Longmont resident reported a theft in the 800 block of Parklane Avenue.

Senate Bill 19-042 would enter Colorado into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPV) to elect the president by popular vote. States that enact this Compact will award all their electors to the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes in the fifty states and the District of Columbia.

Six months after the introduction of its Discovery Pass program, the Longmont Public Library has added four new attractions to the program: Dinosaur Ridge National Natural Landmark, the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, the Museum of Boulder, and Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
