Although the City of Longmont is looking at spending almost $90 million dollars on infrastructure projects through a bond issue on the November ballot, railroad quiet zones are not currently part of that planned spending.

The following is the agenda for the St. Vrain Valley School District regular meeting scheduled for September 12, 2018. This agenda is as seen on September 7.

DISTURBANCE On September 10, 2018 Longmont Police Officers took a report of a disturbance in the 1200 block of 19th Avenue. A report was taken for information only. Case closed.

The Longmont City Council discovered, while reviewing 2019 budget priorities, that the Windy Gap Water Firming Project is going to cost significantly more than originally estimated.

Before 1967 Longmont was a sleepy farming town. Serving food just south of town there was a Johnson’s Corner truck stop. Beyond that, there was little to serve locals with a desire to eat out, away from home.
