George was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia to parents who immigrated from Chios, Greece. After high school George attended West Virginia University where he graduated with a degree from the School of Pharmacy.

Tom Woodard of Arvada passed away November 2021. He is survived by his wife Leann, his daughter Miranda and son in-law Tyler and their two boys; his daughter Ashley and son in-law Scott and their son and daughter.
