Sunday, February 23rd, at 4:00 p.m., the Longmont Concert Band (LCB) presents a free concert, “Symphonic Classics for Concert Band,” at Silver Creek High School, 4901 Nelson Road in Longmont.

The Longmont Museum’s Thursday Nights will be taking us out of our world over the next two weeks. Following the theme of spheres and roundness, this week’s Stewart Auditorium showing (20th February) is of the classic film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The Longmont Museum’s Thursday Night’s music series starts off with Boulder based Banshee Tree. The band combines acoustic instruments with a diverse blend of electronic dance music, jam, and early jazz.
