Edward Herbert Hoid, 36, was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. Friday. He has been charged with a parole violation, menacing, criminal mischief and three counts of vehicle trespass in connection with events that led to his arrest. He has not yet been charged in connection with the assault, according to police.
