Longmont police have identified and are looking for Daniel Macintosh Stuart as a suspect in a carjacking/kidnapping incident Monday near Martin Street and Ken Pratt Boulevard. The victim was able to flee the car and was not hurt.

A 41-year-old man was stabbed during a confrontation with another man, Jeff Satur, deputy chief of Longmont Police Services, stated in an emailed. The victim was transported to a Longmont hospital and is expected to survive.

Man in critical condition after being stabbed Tuesday night in Longmont

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 Block of Dry Creek Drive at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday on a welfare check and possible shooting when they found the man with multiple stab wounds, according to Jeff Satur, deputy chief of Longmont Police Services.
