Longmont library Volunteer Fair launches today in virtual format

The Longmont Public Library’s fourth annual Volunteer Fair kicks off today in a new online format. The event, which has grown in popularity each year and annually helps connect about 100 volunteers with local causes, will run through Aug. 31.

Police notify community of sexually violent predator living in Longmont

Colorado law requires police departments to publicly share information about parties determined to be sexually violent predators. There are currently 297 registered sex offenders in the city, according to police. Of those, five are classified as sexually violent predators.
