Three new camps are on tap for early July as the Longmont Museum’s virtual summer camps continue: Circus Stars, Playful Painting and Mini Science Stars.

After submissions are received, people will be able to vote online for up to five of their favorite designs to transform utility boxes.

The company last week announced it broke ground on a 240,000-square-foot addition to the Longmont plant in May. It will be operational by fall 2022. At least 200 new jobs will be added to the existing 250-person workforce during the expansion.

Longmont resident Jaime Gaston will compete in the Miss Colorado for America pageant on July 15. She said she not only hopes to make her hometown proud, but also to inspire her two pageant-winning daughters to follow their dreams.
