FRAUD A Longmont resident in the 2200 block of Meadow Street reported an incident of identity theft occurring in Placentia, CA. The case status is closed due to jurisdictional issues and lack of suspect information.

SHOPLIFT On December 23, 2018, Longmont police officers responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in reference to a shoplift that had just occurred. It was reported that an adult male and an adult female had stolen items from the area.

The Tuesday, January 15, city council meeting, beginning at 7 pm in the Council Chambers at 350 Kimbark Street, will be an Open Forum for residents to talk for 5 minutes each to council members about any topic on their minds.

BURGLARY On 12/29/18, Longmont police officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in the 400 block of Fox Street. There are no suspect leads and the case is closed.

Boulder County Parks & Open Space and the Sheriff’s Office Wildland Fire Management Program plan to conduct prescribed burns at Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain and Heil Valley Ranch sometime between Jan. 10 and April 30, weather permitting.
