Located about a mile southeast of Longmont’s Oskar Blues, Jack’s Solar Garden will produce enough power for over 300 homes in Boulder County.

The Midtown Handmade vending machine, at 921 Kimbark St., allows local makers who can no longer sell at craft fairs to think differently and sell their items in a unique way. The vending machine is available 24 hours, seven days a week. 

With 18 local restaurant partners and plans to add more, local service offers a more personal, less expensive option to national competitors.

“We’re a family that takes care of family, and we’re in the people business, not the funeral business,” the Carrolls said.

”Everybody in town, for some reason, loves mint. I don’t understand it but that is my highest selling ice cream," Chase Clifford said.

Due to COVID-19 the construction will be delayed.

The addition of services is part its commitment to invest at least $100 million into behavioral health services, according to UCHealth.

The deadline to apply for the second round of Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant Program funding has been extended to noon Oct. 28.
