Debby Telfer, a computer science programming and web development teacher in Skyline High School’s Pathways in Technology  Early College High, or PTECH, program, said she hopes to be able to give something to her students for Thanksgiving.

The converted 16,000-square-foot warehouse on Weaver Road houses 54 target lanes, classroom space and a pro shop with repair and bow-tuning services. There, archery hobbyists and professionals can enjoy the sport, practice their skills and engage in competitions.

Located about a mile southeast of Longmont’s Oskar Blues, Jack’s Solar Garden will produce enough power for over 300 homes in Boulder County.

The Midtown Handmade vending machine, at 921 Kimbark St., allows local makers who can no longer sell at craft fairs to think differently and sell their items in a unique way. The vending machine is available 24 hours, seven days a week. 

With 18 local restaurant partners and plans to add more, local service offers a more personal, less expensive option to national competitors.

“We’re a family that takes care of family, and we’re in the people business, not the funeral business,” the Carrolls said.

”Everybody in town, for some reason, loves mint. I don’t understand it but that is my highest selling ice cream," Chase Clifford said.
