Wednesday, December 11 FDC/CRIM TRESPASS A Longmont, CO resident in the 2200 block of Pratt Street reported an attempted steal of her vehicle. There are no investigative leads.

n July, 2019, Longmont City Council approved the joint efforts of Public Works and Natural Resources (PWNR) and Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA) to start the Community Ranger program.

The Longmont Public Media is holding regular meetings on Thursday nights for community members interested in helping develop a robust public access media center.

THEFT On Monday, December 09, 2019, at about 1148 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a theft of license plates from a vehicle at the 1000 block of Lee Way. THEFT An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1000 block of South Hover Street.

The St. Vrain Valley School District Board of Education meets in the boardroom at 395 S. Pratt Parkway, on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of each month. These meetings are open to the public.

I am a member of the Longmont City Council. Writing alone, I can’t speak for the Council, and would never attempt to do so. But I want to offer clarity on the recent controversy regarding the actions of two members of the Longmont City Council.
