On Tuesday night, Longmont City Council approved a package of intergovernmental agreements that paved the way for the distribution of the federal CARES Act funding. 

Police suspect fireworks were placed in a sink and toilet in the bathroom at 2525 E. Ken Pratt Blvd., according to a Facebook post.

The Union Reservoir swim beach will reopen on Monday, but use will be capped at 50 people to observe coronavirus-related safety practices. The beach will be open on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dynel Lane was convicted in 2016 of one count of attempted first-degree murder, four counts of assault and one count of unlawful termination of a pregnancy in connection to the attack on Michelle Wilkins and the death of her unborn child.

Face coverings are not necessary when on the trail away from other people, but Boulder County Parks & Open Space in a Thursday news release asked visitors to bring face coverings with them to open space properties and to wear them at trailheads, when passing others and anytime it is not possible to keep a 6-foot distance from anyone who does not live in their household.
