A local collaboration brings the diversity of language to students at home, through an art show.

While event might be different this year because of coronavirus, celebration still going strong two decades in.

“On one hand, [music] can be an escape, but on the other it can be this influential tool. Music can communicate these issues and reach people.” Shae said.

Event at the museum will feature 30 minutes of performance, including three dances, and a 30-minute Q&A with Cleo Parker Robinson.

Wednesday marked the first of a series of Catrina painting days, during which the Firehouse Art Center will welcome artists of all ages and stages to share their talents and paint a Catrina.
