The Weld County District Attorney’s Office announced on July 3 that a Weld County man was sentenced to an additional 99 years in prison for a sexual assault committed in 2015 outside of Roasty’s Bar in Greeley.

Shannon McShane, who worked as an investigator, evaluator, and counselor in child custody cases, was sentenced to four years in prison last week after pleading guilty to multiple crimes.

Anissa Hernandez is the suspect in a stabbing that occurred on June 22 in Greeley. The investigation is ongoing.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) brought renewed attention to a cold case from 1975 involving the murder of Marjorie Sue Fithian in a post on Facebook this week.

The Longmont Police Department is attempting to find a victim from a felony menacing incident that occurred on June 19, according to a statement made by Longmont Public Safety on Friday. The menacing incident happened between 6:00 p.m. and 6:11 p.m.
